Charging & Compatibility

  1. How does the Journey charge a Smartphone? The Journey works with most Smartphones, Tablets, and Devices that charge by USB. It has support for fast charging with up to USB-C PD 65 Watt high speed output. To ensure compatibility with the Journey, please check your Smartphone or Device product specifications.
  2. Charging Devices by USB-C attached Cable: Connect the Journey's USB-C cable tip to your device’s USB-C Input charging port. Then press the power button on the side of the Journey to activate. Your device should indicate that it’s now charging. To remove, gently disconnect the cable from your device.
  3. Charging Devices by USB-C Output Port: Connect your device’s USB-C cable to the USB-C Output port. Second, connect the opposite cable tip to your device’s charging port. Then press the power button on the side of the Journey to activate. Your device should indicate that it’s now charging. 
  4. Charging Devices by USB-A Output Port: Connect your device’s USB cable to the USB-A Output port. Second, connect the opposite cable tip to your device’s charging port. Then press the power button on the side of the Journey to activate. Your device should indicate that it’s now charging.
  5. How do I know when my power bank is fully charged? The LCD digital power display will indicate the percentage of remaining charge in the battery from 0% to 100%. The LCD status meter is located on the front, top area of the Journey and the power button is on the right side. To activate the battery status meter, press the power button. 
  6. How can I tell how much charge is left on the Journey? The Journey features an LED status display on the side. Press the power/ status button, and the display will indicate the remaining battery percentage.
  7. Does it support fast charging? Yes, the Flex supports fast charging up to 65 Watts.
  8. Which iPhones does the Journey USB-C connector charge? The Journey works with all iPhones that have a USB-C connector, iPhone 15 series and newer. Use a Lightning cable to charge older iPhone models.
  9. How do you recharge the Journey? You can charge the Journey by the AC Wall prongs, with the attached USB-C cable or a separate USB-C cable. 
  10. Charge by AC Wall Outlet: Connect the AC prongs to a compatible, standard US AC wall outlet to recharge. Then connect your other devices.
  11. Use the USB-C attached cable: Use the attached USB-C cable and connect the USB-C tip end to a USB-C compatible charging port. 
  12. Use the USB-C input & USB-C cable: Use a USB-C cable & Connect the USB-C tip end to the input port on the right side of the Journey. Connect the other USB-C tip end of the cable to a standard USB-C compatible charging port. 
  13. Can you charge the Journey & a device at the same time? The Journey integrates multiple power features. Charge up to three devices at the same time. Pass-through charging allows you to charge your devices and the Journey battery at the same time. Connect the Journey to charge by input and also connect the charging cables to the devices that you would like to charge. When charging is complete, all of your devices and the Journey will be fully charged. Prioritized charging will first charge your connected devices and then charge the Journey internal battery. The Journey also features auto off charging which will turn off the internal battery when it detects that the devices you are charging are fully charged.
